Year Groups

In our Year group pages you will find useful information about the curriculum your child will follow in school.

Our curriculum is planned so that it is progressive each year and the children are enabled to know and remember more and more. In our school, we place a huge important on Oracy by encouraging children to speak and listen in different contexts and with different groups of people. We are always trying to extend the vocabulary which  our children use within and outside of their lessons.

We are part of a project called, 'Learning without Limits.' In planning our curriculum, we plan a learning journey which is meaningful to our children and leads to an 'end product' which would include sharing their learning with others in some form. This could be a poster, a presentation or an exhibition.

Please see the following letter which has important information regarding phonics support for children during the summer term.  The resources will be live from Monday 27th April.

Mrs Harris has been working hard to find ideas to support emotional well-being at this very unusual time.  There is a resource available linked to some training that school have accessed.  Please follow the link to the DESTY (Discovering Exceptional Strengths and Talents in You) website.  Stay safe, everyone and look after each other.
